NE/R WE WOULD PAY FOR NDC TO TRAVEL TO CHEREPONI TO SHOW US THEIR EIGHT YEARS LEGACY - VICE PRESIDENT

 The Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia visited the chereponi constituency as part of his working visit to the Northern and North East region.


 

The Vice President on his arrival was welcome by an over whelming multitude including Chiefs from the Chereponi Constituency.

Addressing a durbar held by the Chereponi Feme and Council of elders, the Vice President who is also seen by the people of chereponi as one of the sons, recounted the success of the NanaBawumia  led Administration especially within the Chereponi constituency and its environs. According to the Vice President, Over twenty eight  (28)  communities have been hook to the national grid within the Chereponi districts under the leadership of RazakNanaBawumia.

  • 435 1V1D in the North including ten (10) in Bole.
  • Nana has also allocated a district hospital to Chereponi.

The Chereponi - Mango road which links the two countries to be constructed  with a bridge. 

According to the Vice President, the New Patriotic Party is ever ready to pay the NDC to come to the Chereponi constituency to show them what they have done for them in their eight years of ruling.

    Dr. Alhaji Mahammud Bawumia also asked the good people of Chereponi to tell John Mahama that they don't want to go back to incompetence and that they are very OK with the NanaBawumia Administration.

In talking about the massive projects put up by the NanaBawumiaRazak administration in the Chereponi Constituency, the Veep said that the trend of development is what would held to reduce the poverty and hardship in the district.Therefore , all well meaning Chereponians should vote for Nana and Razak come December 7th to put Chereponi in a different level of development after the general elections. He also recounted how guinea fowls have flown to Burkina and  have not been able to trace their  where about but the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Massive projects across the country are visible and that is the vivid difference between NPP administration and other political parties.


 

His Excellency the Vice President formally introduced the Parliamentary Candidate for the Chereponi Constituency who doubles as the district chief executive for the area and entreats them to rally behind him for victory in the upcoming general elections.

In a remak the minister for Local Government and Rural development the MP for Nalerigu/Gambaga Constituency, Hon. Hajia Alima Mahama asked the constituents to vote massively for the NPP  to capture all the six (6) seats for the party in the region.

NE-R: THE NAYIRI ACCEPTS RASHIDA MAHAMA NOMINATION AS MCE

  Hajia Rashida Mahama is the nominee  for the East Mamprusi municipal Assembly by his excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo. She was welcomed by the Mamprugu Overlord, Naa-Bohagu I. Speaking on behalf of the overlord, an elder of the Nayiri, Mba Maasu said, “ the overlord has accepted her”. Not only the overlord, but the entire state have embraced her, and we gave her a warm welcome”, he added. However, considering the misunderstanding that engulf her nomination, the overlord advised her to handle everyone well and also thanked the president for the decision. NE/R:CHEREPONI DAM(KATAPILA)TO BE DREDGED-HON.TAHIDU ABDUL RAZAK.

  The member of parliament for the Chereponi constituency Hon.Tahidu Abdul Razak on Sunday 28th  march cut sod for the dredging of the only source of water for the chereponi township and other closer communities like sangbana, Ando,Kpamamba,Bukasu,Bulasu etc. The Chereponi dam is over seventy years since its construction. the dam has lost its water holding capacity due to serious dilapidated of its bank.    The law maker for the area Hon.Tahidu Abdul Razak on cutting sod for the dredging and spillway construction,indicated that an appeal has been submitted to the ministry of Agric to aid in reshaping and sustaining the dam.according to him, solving the peoples problem is his sole duty as a representative in the national assembly.
