NE/R: GHANA CHRISTIANS HEALTH ASSOCIATION OF GHANA (CHAG) SUPPORTS THE BAPTIST MEDICAL CENTRE TO FIGHT COVID-19

The CHRAJ commissioner Mr. Joseph Whutta on Friday September 4th paid working visit to the North East Region. He was received and welcomed by the North East Regional minister Hon. Solomo Boar who led him to the overlord of Mamprugu, the commission stated that he is in the region to open the new regional commissioners office to enchance the successful running of the commissions work.
Mr. Joseph Whutta assured the good pupil of the North East Region the readiness of the commission to fight corruption and other related issues concerning human right. According to him, many more offices would be opened very soon in districts that do not have CHRAJ offices in the region. The commissioner indicated that, the commission is ever ready to protect the right of women and children.
On the issue of teenage pregnancy, the commissioner stated clearly that it is a matter that affects the life of the girl child and even sometimes, the girl child’s education is truncated and therefore admonished all parents to take the issue of teenage pregnancy very seriously by making sure their girl child abstain from sex at that early stage. The commissioner also added that anymore who gets a teenage pregnant, will be dealt with vigorously by the law. According to him, the commission will work closely with the police to ensure that persons who perpetrate that act would be prosecuted.
